If your score is not printed with the layout you want, you can adjust the layout of your prints depending on the browser you are using:
Google Chrome:
- Option to see more lines (music stave) per page by adjusting the margins:
1. Click the "Print" icon on the score
2. When the printing pop-up appears -> Page Set Up -> Margins -> Custom
3. Move the dotted lines upwards and inwards to bring them closer to the music stave
- Option to enlarge the note size so it’s easier to read the score:
1. Print
2. When the printing pop-up appears -> Page Set Up -> Margins -> "None" or "Default"
- If music staves do not fit in the print area, option to adjust the scale:
1. Print
2. When the printing pop-up appears -> Page Set Up -> Scale
3. 100-110% to display the entire page / reducing the scale reduces the size but also increases the number of music staves per sheet.
Safari:
- Option to print several pages per sheet to compact the score print:
1. Print
2. When the printing pop-up appears -> Safari -> Page Layout -> Pages per sheet
- If music staves do not fit in the print area, option to adjust the scale:
1. Print
2. When the printing pop-up appears -> Scale
3. From 100 to 105 % to display the entire page / reducing the scale on Safari is not a good idea because the browser does not take page breaks into account.
Firefox:
- Option to print several pages per sheet to compact the score:
1. Print
2. When the printing pop-up appears -> Firefox -> Page Layout -> Pages per sheet
- If music staves do not fit in the print area, option to adjust the scale:
1. Print
2. When the printing pop-up appears -> Scale
3. For optimal printing: Check the box "Ignore scale and adjust page width". Reducing the scale reduces the size but also increases the number of music staves per sheet.
