TomTheory is a unique interactive course for learning music theory. It is aimed at both students and teachers, as well as amateur musicians who want to brush up on their skills!
Designed by Angelo Lombardo, teacher and dean of the Lausanne Conservatory, the TomTheory method is divided into 8 progressive levels to help with rhythm and reading music.
Each exercise includes a wide selection of pieces recorded by us or by our partner Deutsche Grammophon, to help you understand the connection between playing your instrument and music theory. The TomTheory exercises also help you to train your ear so that you can learn to sight-read any piece of music by singing the note names; to understand the notes in the scale and to develop the vital relationship between sounds, musical notation and note names.
