Say goodbye to scribbles and eraser marks on your paper scores! In one gesture, you can add personalised annotations (fingerings, dynamics, etc.) to your interactive score.
To annotate a score, you must first create a new one. In the upper-right corner, click on “Create score”. Enter a name for your score and click “Save”.
With the "Annotation" tab, you can add any musical annotation such as a sharp symbol, a crescendo, or fingering. To add an annotation, select it and drag it to the desired location on the score. You can do the same with existing annotations.
With the "Draw" tab, you can draw on the sheet music. Select a colour and weight and hold down your left mouse button to draw.
With the "Highlight" tab, you can highlight a note, a stave or a bar in semi-transparent colour. Select a colour and weight and hold down the left mouse button to highlight.
With the "Text" tab, you can add text to the score. Select a colour and click anywhere in the score, then add your text. With the "Size" tool, you can adjust the size of the text. Move the text box wherever you want by holding down your left mouse button on the grey icon just above the text. Then click on the pink button on the bottom-right side of your text to validate your annotation.
To delete an annotation, click on the "Erase" tool and move your mouse over the annotation. Click on the annotation to delete it. The "Undo" button allows you to undo your last step.
When you close the annotation panel by clicking on the arrow at the top left, all your changes are automatically saved. Your annotations will automatically synchronise across all your devices once you close the panel (your devices must be connected to the internet for this to work).
To re-open the annotations panel, click on “Edit a score” at the top right.
You can access your annotated score by selecting it in the “Score” drop-down list at the top left.
