The transposition feature is available for singer scores and for a limited number of scores for other instruments. Please note that scores containing the transposition feature can only be played through the apps and not through the website.
To check if the transposition feature is available in a score, click on the image of the score in the "Discover" or "Search" tabs and click on "View score details" to see if "Transposition" is listed in the "Features" of the score. More information about this feature can be found by clicking on "Show more" to see the "Key (Range)" section.
When playing a score in the app with the transposition feature, you can change the key using the "Transpose" button:
Our scores are arranged in various levels of difficulty and the levels are often in different keys so you may find the key you are looking for. You can also look for the same score with another instrument, it may also be available in the key you are looking for. To view the different versions of the same piece, follow these steps:
1. In the "Search" tab, enter the name of the piece you are looking for in the search bar.
2. Simply click on the image to see the different arrangements and difficulty levels of the piece we have and hear the preview.
3. Select an arrangement/difficulty level and click on “View Score Details” then "Show more" to see the “Key" section. You can do this on all difficulty level/arrangement until you find the key you are looking for.
If you can't find the right key, please contact us here and we will see if we can produce this transcription just for you.
